Remote Support

We use the program Teamviewer for remote support.

Steps to install Teamviewer:

  1. Download Teamviewer
    1. Firefox
      1. Click on the link above and the file will automatically download to your download folder.
    2. Chrome
      1. Click on the link above and the file will automatically download to your download folder.
    3. Internet Explorer
      1. Click on the link above and select “Run” from the download bar at the bottom of the window.
  2. Install Teamviewer
    1. Firefox
      1. Click on the Blue Download arrow on the browser bar and double click on the file.
      2. You will be prompted for Administrator access, please click Accept.
    2. Chrome
      1. Double click on the file in the download bar at the bottom of the browser window.
      2. You will be prompted for Administrator access, please click Accept.
    3. Internet Explorer
      1. The file will automatically install once it has downloaded after selecting “Run”.
      2. You will be prompted for Administrator access, please click Accept.
  3. Run Teamviewer

Once Teamviewer is running you will see the following Window:

 

Please give the “Your ID” code to one of our engineers over the phone along with the “Password”.

Please note that the password is reset every time the system is rebooted and by default your computer will not allow remote access without giving the password to an engineer.

You can uninstall Teamviewer once the repair is complete, though we recommend that it remain on the system in case of future support.
